Preparation

Lightly coat the silicone part of the mold with a drop of any O’Lip Oil to make it easier to remove the product. Use the provided spatula if needed.

Step 1

Choose and mix

After selecting your components, add drops of color and/or oil into the beaker and mix until the mixture is uniform.
Then, open and pour the contents of one O’Lip Base sachet into the beaker together with the color and oils. No scale is required, as the sachet contains the precise amount needed to create your custom lip product!

Heat and pour

Heat in the microwave for approximately 1 minute (or, if needed, using a double boiler for about 7–8 minutes). If using the second method, cover the beaker with plastic wrap to avoid condensation.
Ensure the mixture is fully melted before pouring it into the mold.

Step 3

Pour and cool

Pour the melted mixture into the mold in a steady motion. Once poured, lightly tap the mold on the work surface to release any air bubbles that may have formed during preparation. Then place the mold in the freezer for about 10 minutes (or in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes).

Step 4

Before demolding

After removing the mold from the freezer or refrigerator, use the spatula to remove any excess product from the metal part of the mold. Then remove the metal part to proceed with extracting the product.

Step 5

Demolding

Slightly stretch the edges and rub the silicone part of the mold between your hands to help release the finished product. This may take about 20 seconds. Remove the product using the stick. If you’re not completely satisfied with the result, you can remelt the lipstick up to three times.

Phase 6

Fitting the Stick

Take the stick and twist it until the white inner part is fully extended. Insert the stick into the exposed part of the product until it touches the silicone of the mold.

Usage

All done! You can use your creation right away! We recommend using the product within 9 months of its creation.

Detailed Lip Balm Guide

Natural vegan lip balm in white tube, creamy texture, custom beauty product

To create your lip balm, you will need one O’Lip Oil, one O’Lip Base, and optionally an O’Color (as well as the essential O’Tool Essentials).

We recommend proceeding as follows:

Select your preferred O’Lip Oil
Add approximately 50–55 drops of O’Lip Oil directly into the beaker
Pour the contents of one O’Lip Base sachet into the beaker
Enhance your lip balm with one or two drops of your favorite O’Color, My Mix, or preferred color blend to create a tinted lip balm
Heat in the microwave (or using a double boiler) for about 1 minute at 160 watts (times may vary depending on your microwave’s power) until the components are fully melted
Remove the beaker from the microwave and stir the mixture with the spatula for a few seconds
Pour the mixture into the designated mold of the O’Tool Essentials (optional: apply a drop of oil to the inner silicone walls of the mold for easier removal)
Let it solidify in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or in the freezer for about 10 minutes
Remove the lip balm from the mold and insert it into the Ophelier stick

Detailed Lipstick Guide

To create your custom lipstick, you will need one or more O’Color, one O’Lip Base, and optionally an O’Lip Oil (as well as the essential O’Tool Essentials).

We recommend proceeding as follows:

Select your O’Color shades and mix them gradually until you achieve your desired color
Add approximately 50–55 drops of color in total into the provided beaker to achieve a high-coverage lipstick
Pour the contents of one O’Lip Base sachet into the beaker
Enhance your lipstick with specific benefits. Add one drop of your preferred O’Lip Oil into the beaker together with the wax base and colors
Heat in the microwave (or using a double boiler) for about 1 minute at 160 watts (times may vary depending on your microwave’s power) until the components are fully melted
Remove the beaker from the microwave and stir the mixture with the spatula for a few seconds
Pour the mixture into the designated mold of the O’Tool Essentials (optional: apply a drop of oil to the inner silicone walls of the mold for easier lipstick removal)
Let it solidify in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or in the freezer for about 10 minutes
Remove the lipstick from the mold and insert it into the Ophelier stick
